Laughing Stormcloud
The sky darkened with grey and black clouds. Heavy rain assaulted the roof in a barrage of a million tiny drops, falling to the earth like sand in an hourglass. The lightning flashed as the rolling thunder swept across the land, reverberating every molecule with its powerful roar. The ambient taps of the raindrops grew more intense as the flashes grew closer and the thunderous bellows weeped from the black clouds overhead. "How sad that the sun is gone today", they seemed to say. Mocking us with its dreadful existence. The storm comes and makes us settle down. Come back, Sun, so we can play.
